Mobility on Tobago

On the island there are different possibilities to explore the surroundings as well as to get from the airport to the accommodation.
Note that a taxi company, as it is common in many holiday regions, is not very common on Tobago. The bus network does not cover all areas of the island satisfactorily either. In addition, buses are often overcrowded and delayed.

Before arriving in Tobago, the journey to the accommodation should be organized. This can be either a pick-up by the host, or a rental car.
For local mobility, a rental car is a good choice, which should definitely be rented from a trustworthy lender. Another possibility is to make the excursions directly with a guide who organizes the transport by car or minibus. As a rule, it is possible to plan the tours in such a way that smaller beaches and bays can also be reached.
